Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Lork AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lork AI.

2. Use of Service

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Lork AI.
• You are solely responsible for your account and any activity under it.
• Do not use the service for illegal, abusive, harmful, or fraudulent purposes.
• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or exploit the platform or its security.
• We reserve the right to monitor, suspend, or terminate accounts for any reason, including suspected abuse or violation of these Terms, without notice or liability.
• We reserve the right to restrict or limit access to any feature, service, or content at our sole discretion.

3. Content & Data

• You retain ownership of your content but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and use it as necessary to provide and improve the service.
• You are responsible for the legality, reliability, and appropriateness of all content you upload, generate, or share.
• AI responses are generated by third-party large language models (LLMs) and may be inaccurate, offensive, or inappropriate. Use at your own risk.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any AI-generated content.
• We may remove or restrict access to any content at our discretion, without notice or liability.

4. Payments & Subscriptions

• Payments and subscriptions are securely processed via Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
• You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time via the Stripe customer portal.
• Refunds are subject to our discretion and Stripe’s policies. We reserve the right to refuse refunds for any reason.
• We are not responsible for any issues, losses, or damages arising from third-party payment processors.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms, suspected abuse, or for operational or legal reasons. We are not liable for any loss or damages resulting from such actions.

6. Disclaimer

Lork AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee accuracy, reliability, availability, or suitability for any purpose. Use of the service is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lork AI, its owners, affiliates, and partners are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business interruption, arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lork AI and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time, with or without notice. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review the Terms periodically.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Portugal.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
